Installing Island Thunder

I have all 3 games now Ghost Recon,Desert Siege and Island Thunder. If I install Ghost Recon and Desert Siege everything is fine and dandy...When I try to install Island Thunder on the game it wont install it says to UNINSTALL GHOST RECON or PLAY ISLAND THUNDER I dont get the option to install ISLAND THUNDER..... Is there a specific order I have to install these games in?.... or will the update patches sort this problem out so I can install all 3 games?

I'm not sure the order I installed the GR games....have you tried switching the order between Island Thunder and Desert Seige?

from start to 1.4 version

This is how I get it go

Install Ghost Recon "play some missions" get bored a little

Install Desert Seige " play more " ready for the top dog now

Install Island Thunder "wonder why it says 1.3.50 " more playing

Install 1.4 patch ..

or if you don't want to play the games you'll need to look for a xml file to unlock your games..

OK uninstalled the lot and used a reg cleaner to remove all the ghost recon entries....Rebooted and reinstalled Ghost recon.....I cannot still install Island Thunder it gives me the option to play Island Thunder or to uninstall Ghost Recon......Ok so I eject that one and try to install Desert Siege.....Nope I get the option to uninstall Ghost Recon or to play Island Thunder????? Hang on I was trying ti install Desert Siege what the hell is going on....Please help...Are there any more registry entries I need to find and remove??

Check the "Recon" section for manual uninstall directions, I don't know if you already followed them, but thats the only thing I can think of that may help you out.

Here's a couple of things you can try:

Instead of expecting to see the install menu option when autorun runs for the IT cd, just cancel the autorun menu option, and then run the setup.exe from the root of the CD-ROM.

If this doesn't work, I think you may want to load them in this sequence:

GR

DS

gr_english_patch_3.exe, 48MB

DesertStorm_Actor_Patch.exe, 1MB

IS

GR_Patch_4.exe, 6MB

As far as MultiPlayer, I'd stay away from Ubi.com. Try All Seeing Eye and check the Games Room here at GR.NET. There are many games hosted even daily. Just connect by direct IP.(In the MP screen of GR, Internet Tab: You will notice the following at the lower left corner:000.000.000.000 - this is where you enter the IP of the host, then click join!)
