Artworkz skins

Recommended Posts

:rocky: Theese are the new skins for ghosts characters i'm working on (Not finished yet) , I didn't try to use an existing camo pattern , I just focused on the artworks related with GRAW and on the intro movie.

I Used different textures for each material part of gears and helmet , I add some dirt , mud , burst , dust noise all over the characters couse they're too clean for war theatre and I add beard couse they can't shave while they're always on mission :D .

Here I add some scrennshotz about details and behaviour under light exposure with post_production effects on and off.Hope you like it.

I'm working on the helmet but is one of the hardest part of the character so I need time , i didn't add anything to the Bump I just work over the texture couse the result is quite good in this way and it's easier.

thx from all the player with beard

:santa:

I wish I could get my texture quality to high

You could activate high-quality textures by editing the renderer_settings.xml in wordpad just by replace "medium" with "high" for characters and weapons.I did in this way couse My pc is really old and slow.

This is very interesting work. I never thought before that the ghosts should be dirty. It makes sense though. Looking back, the only time my BDUs looked pristine was when i got them from the cleaners for the first time with patches sewn on and pressed for the first time. After spending any time in the field putting up wire or doing a bangalore drill, you were pretty much dirty from then on.

Great idea, if that was combined with the weave on the clothes, that would be a spot on clothing mod. Keep up the great work.

hahaha, 'tis ok mate. Drunk modding can be great at the time, but terrible when you come back to that mess in the morning.

How's the skin comming, now that you've had a bit of a chance to sober up that is.

Man, tillyboy, you do great work!!!

I took a look at some of the map features and noticed a couple of times that some areas looked like parts of New York. I went in and changed some of the "billboard" files to give it that NYC look. From there I had to have a little fun and changed the uniforms to NYPD SWAT.

This is looking very nice. I don't have any suggestions, it looks topnotch.

Now, something i dont think would work as the textures are shared i think is to maybe put a rip in the clothes. I know there were times that I would cross concertina wire or trip over my own two feet and sometimes get a rip in the knee or leg. That way, you have something to show for when they are shot. I know you cant make it dynamic to reflect getting shot, you would always see the rip, but somekind of advanced wear on the clothing. Hmm, i guess dirty is good enough.

Anyway, very nice looking.
