I don't see any mis-information there. I just got done playing the first mission, and you can hit Tab to open up the map (Cross-com) to order drones (Via the map, also known as sattelite view) to move where you want to (Using the middle mouse button).

Then, you select the Drone with your middle mouse button and point your crosshair where on-screen you want to to go, and click the middle mouse button and select Move.

So, It looks like they are telling the truth :)

i just wanted her in the game so i can get my GF to play

I think ghost recon pc should follow the path of the xbox version of the game on the character customisation stuff... Would be nice to be able to make multiple combination of appearence like the xbox. That and more interesting coop mode are really what is missing in graw pc....

Didn't they forget the weapons with attached cameras on them so instead of peeking you can use the weapon to peek at corners for you, while having visual?

How nice of you to point that out!

There WAS a WeaponCam in GR2, when the Ghosts totally flattened North Korea's sorry mug. Unfortunately, all the components of that WC were make in South Korea. After the reunification (by force) with North Korea, the South Korean economy got a bit depressed trying to bring the North up to speed with their nextdoor neighbors. In order to try to offset the financial lag, South Korea's legislature took drastic measures and increased the tariff on all exports, ESPECIALLY those used for military and government equipment and facilities. This was EXPECTED to boost both South Korean federal revenues AND Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ltd's revenues. Instead, most of their western partners merely started importing from Mexico instead, a country to which MUCH of SK's population fled during the 2011 hostilities on the peninsula. So it was really no different, save that shipping costs were further reduced.

The other side of the story is the total economic ruin of once-flourishing South Korea, dragged under and drowned in the burden of re-educating (oops, reintegrating) the north. But we'll address that in the forthcoming game, Ghost Recon Confused Warfighter.

HECHO IN MEXICO!

that picture is from the GRAW announcment trailer if im correct, man that trailer was bad. So many things in that are not in the game. Yes its only a trailer, but still, it should relate to exactly whats in the final game.

I was expecting to see the same sniper rifle scott mitchell uses in that trailer, the thermal vision he uses, Smoke grenades against tanks.

Also in early, early, early footage of GRAW, there was a female character in the sqaud.

Well, maybe GRIN was working on this female character, but didn't had the time to complete it all the way (a female character has more natural roundings than a male character, to make those nice roundings move in a natural way would probably take a bit more time to complete ;) ). Maybe she will appear in one of the upcoming patches?

:P

Somethng about Finnish girls are good but Swedish ones are better.

My father used to work in Sweden sometimes, and mostly he planned his trips during holiday's so we could join him.... good times they were :)

Yeah, I was hoping for the same thing in the PC version. Everything in the trailer is in the 360 version of the game. I think the sniper rifle Mitchell used is called the AS550 or something (at least in game, I'm not sure what its called in real life). The female character is in the game (360 version, sorry guys) and you can select from different Ghosts usually at supply drops. Her name is Anna Cruz if I remember right, and she is a Marksman.

Those DAMNED console pukes!

At a casual glance, that rifle looked suspiciously like a Heckler & Koch PSG-1, though slightly modified. THAT, by the way, would be arguably the most accurate 7.62mm semiautomatic rifle in the world. I believe I read about it on Mel's Sniper Country PX (Cool site, btw, but that might not be the place I found it) that for the rifle's $6000.00USD pricetag, you gut less than one MOA deviation over significant ranges. It's SUPPOSED to be bad as all get-out. As for putting a full metal jacket round through that much concrete accurately, well this IS just a game...

Yeah, fairly cool trailer...
