Stinger 0
I want to know of some good books I should get and read up on ro "further my knowledge." Yeah Yeah I know how great the internet is and all but I want a book that I can reference to easily. I would like most anything except for history of computers. Stinger 0
I have a question, I like the Network+ and the Operating System one. But is the OS one like really dummed up? Or does it have some valuable stuff that is fairly complex? And does it inclue the newer OS's like XP? Oh and is the Network one really complicated like hard as heck to understand? I am very persistant and like to learn about computers so ya know. Dark Ranger, is that Netowork one the one you have?
NurFACE 0
The OS book is not dummed up. It covers xp and unix based systems with projects to do to get a better understanding. The network book explains Networking really well IMHO with a Lab manual to do hands on. You can read these books to get grasp on OS and Networking plus the one you didn't mention covers hardware.
