wombat357 Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 I had a terrible thing happen the other day... My pc crashed, and then wouldn't start XP... After much F%%$ing around, I inserted the restore cd, discovered the restore windows O/S didn't work, had to restore and reformat, which blew away all 5+ GB of mods I had installed.... Luckily I had my work related files backed up on a daily basis, but I had never bothered with GR files.. One of the first things I reinstalled was GR (after all the essential yet boring work related programs) and I am now going to work through the original campaigns, in Elite, TI off.. Oh yeah.. swartsz Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 i know how you feel, wombat had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago, almost everything gone, made a backup a couple of days before the crash, but in the mean time i done a lot of work on my website, thank God i uploaded it before the crash. but hey, look on the bright side, you now got a clean and mean system!
