SnowFella
Well, it depends alittle on how you use meshsmooth mate. In some cases if you use it with 0 iterations and 3dsm/gmax will report your mesh as being lower in polygons because meshsmooth sometimes removes unneeded edges...perticularly on the top and bottom of cylinders. Meshsmooth also applies some smoothing to your mesh that will make it look nice and smooth. Another better way of getting that smooth look is simply by using smoothing groups. Even fairly sharp edges can get a smooth look with clever use of smooth groups. Here's an example for you. Both meshes have identical geometry, but on the right most mesh I've selected all the polys making up the sides and top and assigned a smoothgroup. Rifle_001
I have some bad news guys, gmax crashed and my WHOLE ENTIRE scenes folder was deleted and it won't let me run System Restore, so I have to start from scratch. Help would be VERY appreciated.

Rifle_001
Alright I finally found out how to post pics and so here are some screenshots (these are screenshots from gmax not the game) of the Isreali made T.C.I. M89-SR. And as for the decal on the scope adjustment it will be fixed. Also I have my model of the German made Walther WA2000 done and textured: Tell me what you think on these. WytchDokta
Anyone know the dimensions of the Main menu and shell_bgd pics? 1024 x 512 The size of the canvas is 1024x512, but the actual area of the background in the menu etc is 640x480. Rifle_001, open the mainmenu_01.rsb through to mainmenu_05.rsb and you'll see what I mean. Edited December 10, 2006 by WytchDokta

Rifle_001
I have decided to add yet another rifle, it is the British made Accuracy International .50 cal AS50 and has just done its first field tests so this rifle is EXTREMELY new and I really wanted to be the first to include this rifle plus it is a truly awesome rifle. I will have a pic coming soon, the pic I just got is good extreme detail but it is literally in pieces so I'll have to put it together and then I'll get a pic here ASAP.
