What FPS do you get on GRAW multiplayer?

Recommended Posts

Hi I just bought GRAW and I really enjoy it. I was wondering what people have been getting for fps in multiplayer.

I have a 3.4Ghz , 7800GT, 2GB Ram on the recommended video settings I get around 35-45 fps.

This game will take some getting used to but I like it so far, wow what a challenge. Multiplayer has been frustrating because you get spawn raped so badly by campers (in deathmatch) but hopefully with time and practice I will get better.

thanks for any replies :)

I have never played GR games, this is my first ...so I think this game could be very great for what it is. I believe you have to take each game and judge it on its own.

Kill them all and let GOD sort them out!

AMD 4600 X2 (Dual Core)

BFG 7900GT OC

2 Gigs Corsair XMS Platinum series

X-Fi music extreme soundcard

Asus A8N-SLI motherboard

In MP with everything set on high except textures I get around 40 - 55 fps. Usually hover around the 40 mark though. Plays smooth, just like any other game I play online.

Oops sorry - 1280 x 1024- 85 hertz

If I play at 1024 x 768 I can keep it at about a constant 55 fps.

I tried running 1280x1024 60 hertz but I got a big fps jump by going down in resolution. Im getting about 50 fps avg now.

P4 3.0 with Hyperthreading socket 478

1GB kingston ddr2 dual channel

80GB serial ata Seagate 7200 rpm drive

Evga Superclocked (but no manual overlclocking) Geforce 6800GS 256MB

Viewsonic V920 19" LCD (19" viewable)

Soundblaster Audigy XGAMER

Asus P4P800SE mainboard... onboard sound disabled for above

Plantronics audio 90 headset + when no one's sleeping Creative 5.1 speakers.

Average Framerate at 1024x768 everything high but... post effects low and dynamic shadows off = 35 - 50FPS (Average 36-38)

Same settings at 1280 x 1024 = 20-25fps with minor mouse lag... annoying though enough to stay at 1024x768

Best thing to get at least 15 FPS is change dynamic shadows from low to off.

Worth more if you have them on high. I haven't found a map you benifit with these on as the sun is almost directly overhead by the shadows. They look cool but everything has shadows including trees which it tracks every leaf in real time (if you shoot one you will see the leaves fall on it's shadow)

Nice tips, im gonna try the shadow things thanks. tweakguides.com has some good suggestions also.

Anyone know if there is a GRAW walkthrough guide out yet? (might be a noob question) :)

Instead of you might be a redneck jokes...you might be a noob if you ask for a game walkthrough guide :P

P4 3.0 GHz with HT Socket 775.

1GB Kingston DDR2 Dual Channel

120GB IDE Samsung 7200rpm HD

XFX Geforce 7600GT XXX 256MB

Internal sound card (lol)

Gigabyte 8I9155P Duo Pro-A Motherboard

Logitech 5.1 Speakers

17" LCD

With all settings on High, at a resolution of 1280x1024@75, I get 30-40 FPS depending on the map and activity in the gameplay.
