There are 'socom' automatic pistols, MK5's, Colt M4 assualt rifles, and sniper rifles. The 'socom' M4 assualt rifle is in the standard Island Thunder GR game, 'rifleman kit #34', I think. The socom M4 assualt rifle is often confused with the M4 SOPMOD, which is now standard issue to all Rangers, and Spec Ops. As i understand the muzzle suppressor is not removable on RW socom weps, as it is on other weps. BaMBaM Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 (edited) My Bad,.... when it's an 'integrated' suppressor, it is NOT removable. It is part of the barrel assembly itself and has greater sound suppression. If it's a 'screw on' attachment, it is, of course, detachable. I see now that SOCOM actaully makes the screw on suppressors. Anyone else notice that in the pic's released so far on the POW rescue raid, all of the M4's were using muzzle suppressors? Avey Posted April 3, 2003 Share Posted April 3, 2003 Have you atcually bought Island Thunder, it is an expansion pack for the original game. When you have installed it go to options, mods and and activate it with the higest priority. Henry Ramirez uses the weapon when you unlock him in the campaign but i think it is kit #38 on the normal rifleman in quick mission.
