REC0N
I remember I read a couple of months ago that you could completely disable the 'POST' effects, I would like to know how, because I can only set it on low. I can't find the topic on it, so maybe one of you guys can help me out. Anyways.. thanks in advance. -= Bring Back The Classics! =- Edited July 2, 2006 by REC0N
Nutlink
If you have to disable the Post Effects, I highly recommend you go to www.tweakguides.com and read thru that first. It may help you increase your performance a fair amount and still keep your post effects on (since disabling this messes with other things, like night vision goggles). pagey
Try to refine your search a bit maybe. Searchin can be a pain but the search engine here is pretty effective. What u can do is go to; C/prog files/Ubisoft/Data/Settings In there open the Renderer Settings with the Notepad.. (rite-clic) Find the 6th line. This one. <variable name="effect_quality" value="high"/> Put ''diabled'' instead of ''high'' ''low'' or whatever Your setup was. This way u get rid of the the yellow filter in game. BUT DOIN THIS WAY YOULL LOOSE UR NV .AND THE CROSSCOM WILL BE IN COLORS. AND (i think) itll shut the dynamic light. You can reset it from in game. I suggest u backup the file in case.... If u hang aroud ull certainly find better ways... In mods theres already stuff been made about it. Search the GRAW modding forums. I tried it at first but i must admit i like it on...on high the textures are cool. Heres what itll look when ''disabled'' from the xml. clip. Logos
Open your render_settings.xml file, change the Post Effects setting to false, and save the file. Be aware it will DRASTICALLY change the look of the game (from Mexico to Switzerland), and it will render nightvision inoperable.

No. The AC that GRIN incorporated searches for anything in the Local folder.
