Goonch Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 How does the "All Teams Advance" command work? I can't get them to advance using that command. What are the proper steps. NYR_32 Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 (edited) Advance is how they ai move when they are directed by a wavepoint, when set to advance the ai cotrolled fireteams advance to the specified location but if they run into enemies they will stop and hold postion and depending on your rule of engagement, Recon, Suppress of Assault they will take action accordingly. I suggest you rerun the part of training that explains the command map and issuing orders it will help you get used to setting wave points and directing your teams. Once u've done that command them to advance pressing 5. Here are some commands: Alpha Team 1 Bravo Team 2 Chalie Team 3 All Teams Hold 4 All Teams Advance 5 All Teams Adv All Coasts 6 All Teams Recon 7 All Teams Engage 8 All Teams Supress 9 U can use them to coordinate your fire teams without looking the map all the time. Cobblers Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 I do find that the team commands in the game aren't all that great and could do with some improvements. This is bound to be something that they will address in GR2. Until then I'd suggest getting on line and ordering around some human based players instead, much more fun imo.
