Mission #11: NORAD on the line

Recommended Posts

Hello mates,

I just finished the game, and only had issues with the game during this mission only. That's why I'm thinking that it's fron the 1.16 patch.

Some spoilers so beware

1. Half way through the 3rd mission, Kirkland repeats "Reloading" every 5 seconds. Until either he: gets killed or when he's moving. When he reaches his destination, he continues repeating. This lasts the entire misson................

2. While my team catches up General "bad-guy", his helicopter takes off, I personally shot it down with my ZEUS rocket. Game Over right, well it should be. This is a missed bug that needs to be fixed.

Cheers!

I believe this was present right out of the box.

I used to have that problem, then I just gave him a 5.56 x 45mm weapon. He does that? Just run him by a dead bad guy, and he should get some ammo. I learned that during Mission 3. I thought it was a bug, but he started acting up and after surviving the first wave, I ran him by some dead dudes, and he stopped. I wish they'd put a "Single Shot Only" or "Burst Fire Only" . I routinely roll with the MR-C and only dropped below 5 mags for "Ready for Bear" Damn Havocs...

[Hi,mates

Till the NORAD level everything was good, but now I am alone and even I have no dron to show me where the enemy is.From the very begining of the game till now I spent something like 3 weeks, but this level is kind of hard for me(six days, five to eight hours a day).I killed everybody around and I am near to the broken wall 23 meters from Ontiveros place and every time there is another sniper surprising me from somewhere.I accept any kind of ideas how to pass this.

Sorry if there are mistakes, but my English is not my first(not even second)language.

Thank you in advance.

P.S.I looked into the help place for this level, but everything is for the team work and,how I said before,I am alone.

NEVER make a beeline for your objective. If you're THAT close to the wall outside the embassy, make sure you circle the plaza out front as well before you get up to that wall. Observe the enemy's position from as many angles as you can. Creep. Be quiet. Be invisible (HA! Like you can do that... I almost forgot this isn't a Ghost Recon game...). Be sneaky at least!

Remember, this is the last chance the development team had to frustrate you before you finish their game. They'd like for you to remember it as a challenge. They've set you up.

Oh, and grenades are your best friend here. Especially LAUNCHED grenades...

Are you hoofing it alone by choice? If not, I'd suggest reloading from an earlier save point where you have at least 2 team-mates still alive. They come in handy as AI triggers. i.e. you send them forward in short jumps and take out the spawners they trigger from a safe distance.

Hi,Pritzl

You helped me very much. It's so easy,I went back from the NORAD1(i was at number 4),kept my soldiers alive and I already passed the game till the end. It's so easy when I am not alone,Crossfire helps everywhere. Thanks again and Merry Christmas ha,ha,ha...
