Wrath
I had to rename the map from "Steel Desert" to "WAR" when i realized the editor wasnt going to let me use certain models and things. So anyways its ready... I have a lot of screenshots here for your enjoyment and a link to download it.... I have had a blast testing it with i2.Dislexic as my beta tester. This i believe is the first working Team DeathMatch map, thanx to Ted for his help in making this work. The scoreboard may not work the same as regular TDM (So just watch the end of the match to see which side had the most kills to know the winner) cause it is still going to show the map as Domination... So when you want to host this map, make sure you choose Domination to find it. I will have a regular DeathMatch version released shortly... and if ppl like this map enough and want a night version i can do that also. Enjoy!!! sCREENIEs --=---=---=-- http://members.cox.net/rob28/G1.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G2.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G3.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G4.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G5.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G6.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G7.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G8.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G9.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G10.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G11.jpg http://members.cox.net/rob28/G12.jpg dOWNLOAd the map hERE --=---=---=--==---===--= HERE instructions: Place this file in your GRAW/custom_levels folder... thats it... now you can host or join a server that has this map. dids
Hi Wrath... Map's looking good, haven't had chance to download and try it yet. One question though... Does the round end once max deaths are reached. I tried to set up my map Sneaky Badger as TDM but it would only end the round once the timer had counted down. i.e. I tried setting Max Deaths to 1, but everyone seemed to be on infinite respawns and could keep on spawning once killed?! (Does that make sense?)

(Does that make sense?) Yes it does... i set max deaths to 1 and rounds to 10 and after 1 Death it went to scoreboard and had to wait another 30 seconds for the round to start again. Wrath
Congrats on the map, download entry here. Thanx Rocky.... hmm i noticed that the map was renamed... what i originally had was War (tdm).bundle now after downloading it from your link the map shows up as Wartdm.bundle I would recommend that if this is going to be the official naming for maps that a heads up to all who have downloaded should be posted. Otherwise there's going to be different servers running different bundles and ppl are gonna come in the forums and say whats up.. why cant i join a server when i have the map? Rocky
The upload script at filefront removed illegal filename characters, in this case a space and brackets. It's best pratice to zip mods, which would avoid this from happening and also allow modders to include a readme file, which is also best practice. It also reduces the download size by about 75%. Correct filename download.
