I like GRAW I like it a lot both SP an MP but OH MY GOD is deathmatch frustrating.

First off the spawning. YOU SPAWn next to an enemy almmost on a 1/4 ratio

Then the maps are so congested that even if you are not trying to spawn camp you end up doing it.

Added to the above is that the whole invincibility thing once you spawn is annoying but helpful whic adds to frustratingness. Cause if your alive and runn into someone who just spawned then they can kill you and you don't even have a chance. But when you are invincible you never know how long youll stay that way 5-10 seconds means a whole lot in death match.

Moving on although this already has been mentioned will say it again that when i die i have no idea where it came from. Sometimes i simply fall down. I dont want a kill cam but at least some knowledge of where I was killed.

Now my biggest problem the Map size although this will disappear with the addition of custom maps I hate the fact that the Maps are so small. This adds to the spawn killing and sometimes I spawn and immediatly am killed cause some guy is right next to me. Especially on the suburbs map( sometimes by thetime i turn my night vision on Im dead.

Now I realize that anyone can say that i just suck and have no tactics but come on I mean i can't suck that horrendously. Finnallt there is just way to much chaos due to map size which can be fun but when you join a server and you have to start out with a pistol and everybody has machine guns it really is bad.

As said before I like the game and am not trying to vent or flame but simply sstate that DM has some major issues.

PS... Don't tell me to go play domination cause thats a whole onther can of beans.

Have to agree with Prozac. Deathmatch on the current maps works VERY well with 10 players or less. Servers really shouldn't set it any higher until we have larger maps.

I dont understand why the Zones couldnt have simply been stripped out of the Domination Maps.I have yet to play DM(not really that interested anyway) but I watched my wife play it for about 5 minutes before she got ###### off and gave up.

Agreed. I've been having a blast in DM servers with 2-8 folks. Even the servers with the tac points enabled at this few folks is a ball.

I'm just still trying to figure out which forums Ubi went into, to see where DM was the most requested game mode out there for this game.

While it is decently fun for 5 minutes, it gets old, annoying and just a plain old frag fest that I should expect from Quake 4 or some other game of that style.

.... sigh ... TDM is the most requested mode, I can't remember ANYONE EVER stating they wanted DM. Why would you want DM for GR:AW if other games like those from the UT series are way better suited for it than a tac shooter.

I am agreeing with you, but even though I have been told on many occassions that I have a good sense of humor I fail to see the sarcasm in your post... Not important anyway, who cares, when TDM is released we will see where it all ends up... and I only see two possibilities:

1. The Graveyard. [game doesn't pick, in the dustbin it goes]

I'm saying that Ubi stated that DM was the #1 mode requested so they put that in instead of TDM.

But when I browse the servers, the majority of the DM servers are empty.

100% with ya bro!!! enemy spawn right beside you damn!! or sometime spawn right infront of the enemy and the map is too small, spawn area should be secluded/remote meaning in a random safe place...
