Cavalier Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 I don't know how it happened, but for some reason, maps that are supposed to be at night, are during the daylight now. Like Mission 2, Eager Smoke, I think, it's bright daylight. so is the one mission where you rescue the pows. How do I change this back? The mods I have are desert siege, Trance's M4, NMM weapons mod, and some HX4 or something like that. these are weapon mods, so I don't think they make a difference. Dark Ranger Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 Try this: 1. Start up GR, and enter the Options Folder, and click on MODS tab. 2. Deactivate ALL MODS so just your original GR is active. 3. Reboot your computer 4. Start up GR again, and try out the maps. Tell us if the map enviroments are still switched. Prophet Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 Whoa whoa whoa....wait a minute. Before you change anything know that if you scroll down far enough some missions are in night as well as day. On the map selection keep scrolling, you'll find that mission at night. GR has conveniently made some missions in dark and day, for fun. I believe another mission like that is the castle. But it will help us determine whether or not the enviroments are from an Active MOD or not. By deactivating all MODS, we can be sure. I was just saying that even before that he could just scroll through the maps. They way it is on mine is all of original GR maps...the the MP1 and MP2 maps, then certain originals again, but with different environment settings. Dark Ranger Posted April 1, 2003 Share Posted April 1, 2003 Ah, now you tell us... Cavalier, that is exactly the MOD I was thinking you might have had activated. The Ranger MOD was created that way on purpose: The night missions are now performed in day, and the day missions are performed at night. If you deactivate that MOD, your campaign enviroments will be normal. The only reason I can think of ATM is that perhaps you had the Ranger MOD decreased in priority, that is why the enviroments didn't switch on your previous campaign. Glad to have helped ya.
