GRAW - Realism optimization mod

yeah, the only complaint is the brightness. the distance the ghosts keep now is good. I love the texture on the uniforms. I like the zero sephia, more like rl to me. I can't wait to see your new hud in working order though. but so far, this mod is great.

I am using the file “post efect†default with <sepia_opacity value= " 0,250 "/>. I have not liked the result of his file in "Norad " , nor in “Buldogâ€.

Tweak is correct. But for my the darness is a big problem . In addition, I use a videoproyector. Perhaps the problem is mine .

- The ghosts are no longer marked by a diamond, however allied vehicles as well as enemy troops / vehicles are still getting marked in order to avoid the accidently destruction of allied forces. Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to make a difference between the ghosts and allied infantry, so it's ATM not possible to deactivate only the markers of the ghosts. The ghosts markers are still active on the tactical map so the player is able to locate them.

Next planned feature: The crosshair is about to disappear, same goes for scanlines inside the buddy cam (they affect the brightness of the game when in buddy cam)

*UPDATE*

Scanlines and the left as well as the right line inside the buddy cam have been removed.

Weapon icon has been removed from the buddy cam (we already see what kind of weapon the soldier is using, so I thought we don't need something like that).

Looks like I begin to understand how the HUD placement works! GREAT JOB, GRIN! :grin1:

What do you think, guys? Should I also remove the top and bottom line from the buddy cam (actually I think I like it somehow the way it is ATM)? :)

Clear HUD v1.3 --> Shadow already did a nice job in reducing the HUD display. Although regarding the placement of the member/ weapon and possition-display you are aiming at, I would place it down low or a bit higher.

For me you can remove all scanlines.

I Had Added the Cloth Effect to the GRAW mapping same as U...

AnD A little Things I Had changed ....

U R Disable the sepia_opacity to 0

But it Was too Dark....Coz the some light is disble...

Moreover,A lot of Reflection r disapper...

So ..I think that May Be use the sepia colour in White....

It will Better....And It's Work

BTW: Only some people seem to have the problem that areas of the game are more darker after they installed the mod - must something have to do with the different videocards or drivers.

Hmm....

but if ur sepia is 0...

no more reflection of the building's windows....

The sun is not shine when u see

The photo has dark Shadow because the Sky it too bright...(Camera diaphragm Problem)

IT is same to shoot the Guy in backlight (eg. backGround is blue sky....)

U must use the addon light in front of him...

Camera is not same the eyes.....

Camera diaphragm is fixed when u Shooting

A pupil of the eye will Open and Close when u seeing...

So it will brighter then the photo

So ...If U think the Photo is Realism...I don't Think So....

on the sepia thing....

when i was on vacation i wore sunglasses all the time (vacation was just in holland/the netherlands) i gotten used to the dimmed light and saw all in full color as my eyes were adjusted to the lighting of the sunglasses

when i took them of i noticed that the world was yellowish like graw, not all that saturated but yellowish in direct sun light compared to the sunglasses

so it might be that the yellow is kinda true

and i think ryu has a point that a comaprison with camara and eye is not

valid

i like what your doing here though :D

It's not a good sign. You may want to consider better sunglasses like oakley.

Hmmm.......let's see if I can remove the entire "virtual reality" look and get the real look instead of stencil shadows.
