JTF-2
well, after a few rounds of GRAW with the new mod, i'm really pleased with it. You've done an awesome job. The skins are sweet and are a welcome change from the plane-Jane origianls. I'm gonna work on combining your mod with the 6.8 mod by [i'm sorry, i forgot who made this one]. Thanks. Viper
EricJ or Lancer, has anyone ever noticed that the texture for the Aimpoint always has the brightness knob set in the "off" possition? It would be a rather simple fix of moving where the dot is ... but has always bugged me. Clark
EricJ
Yes I know, and I tried that earlier when I first started to mod the texture for the scope, but for some reason it wouldn't work. Why I don't know because I figured how to get it right, but I can retry it.
EricJ
this is what i got now, and before: I double checked all of the texture names, and everything is correct. Why it would show up still I have no clue, but could be a texture bug?
Viper
Huh, that's wierd; I have no idea why that might happen I'll have a look at it myself sometime here and see if I have any better luck ... seems really odd though ... Clark
Lancer
I never noticed I'll have a go today, I have a day off work and its raining.
Lancer
I have the same prob as EricJ. I redid the skin with a series of coloured dots and figured out where the "On" dot should be. I now have one at the 12 o'clock and one at the 7 o'clock! As EricJ, I have the correct skin in both addons and the 3rd person addon! Confused of London. Viper
... ... suppose there is code somewhere to add the dot? Maybe GRIN was thinking of adding an option to change the brightness of the dot or something and so there is a movable dot function somewhere that's drawing a ghost dot over the texture ... Kinda a wacky idea but, apart from there being another texture no-one has found it's my best guess ... Clark
