Maxwell_Silver 0 Posted March 31, 2003 Share Posted March 31, 2003 First of all I have three computers at home they are all loaded up with GR and Desert Seige. I have set up the third one to run as a dedicated server, for some reason I can not get the desert seige Maps to work in Multi player. It goes to the screen to load the mission and then kicks to me to the desktop. I have patched all the way to 1.4 but I patched before installed DS. (I am probbly answearing my own question here.) Second of all I have a moniter that is pretty dark and I wanted to change the Gamma but it does not seem to want to work on that computer. I move the value up but it does not seem to change at all. SOTOMac 0 Posted April 4, 2003 Share Posted April 4, 2003 - Uninstall "GR" ( Saving all of Your .XML Files for the Next Installation ) and Reboot. - Defrag and Scandisk Your HD. - Install "GR" and Reboot. - Install the 1.2.10.0. Patch for "GR" and Reboot. - Install "DS" and Reboot. - Install the 1.4.0.0. Patch for "GR" and Reboot. - Run Scandisk and Defrag. - Start "GR" and Enjoy. Please repost with Your Results ( If any ).
