digger54 0
Bought GR Gold edition and loaded GR. Followed the uninstall/install pin recomendation in the general discussion where I loaded 1.3.5.0 patch. I did a restart to ensure the patch took, which it did. Then I went to install patch 1.4 and it opens up with an option to extract to my internet explorer content file. It does not automatically go to my GR file. There appears to be no instructions as to what GR file I should extract the patch to. I have not loaded DS or IT as I was following the order of sequence in the pinned post. What am I doing wrong here?
calius 0
ALl I know is .. install GR, then DS, then IT then patch 1.4 ontop of that.
digger54 0
Obviously I should not have followed the Game load/patch load steps outlined on the uninstall/install page that someone set up on Ghost Recon net as it must have applied only to a "Re-install" as opposed to a 1st time install. What I find strange in the GR Gold edition is that during install you are never prompted to install the 2nd disc containing DS and IT. Last night I loaded DS and IT then patched 1.4 again. It still did the same thing as before, but now when I load up GR it says I have the latest 1.4. version.
KRP 56 92
Bought GR Gold edition and loaded GR. Have fun. That's a whole lotta game for such a small price. Plus mods galore to download. to GR.NET
chiles4 11
With the GR Gold Edition, simply load GR and then DS/IT. When you start it up, you'll see that you're already patched up to 1.4 and you're good to go. No patching is needed. With the DVD version, load GR then DS then IT and then patch 1.4. I'm assuming there's no difference between the products sold in the U.S. and the UK.
