the.ronin
Wow, second post on IE compatibility in as many days. That browser suxxors. These two questions are in regards to this site. It's a frameset with the menu area on the left and content area on the right. I want a fixed background on the content area. Simply, the title (which is on its side hugging the border) and the two colors streaming down the length of the browser regardless of resolution. The way it is currently setup, the content area background is a 2,050 px x 2,500 px gif and using background-attachment:fixed; in <style> up in the <head> ... 1) Clicking on the "links" button, in IE, there is a highly annoying horizontal scroll bar that appears even though there is nothing that would warrant scrolling (all content is well within range even assuming 800x600). No scrollbar in Firefox. How do I get rid of that scrollbar? 2) Is there a way for me to keep the title (e.g., "LINKS"), keep it fixed, whilst maintaining the two color background without having to resort to a 2,050x2,500 background image? Thanks guys / gals.
