Ravenheart
how do you get rid of red dots on map? unfortunately the way it stands to play the game well , you spend more time on map then looking through your own eyes. this defintely takes a great deal away from realism. I am talking about command map. I am very sure the game would be much more fun and challenging if you had to look through your eyes to find enemys 100% of the time, then to spend over 50% of time hitting shift and having map up to find red dots to shoot at. BlueMan
I usually only look at the command map once one of my teams, says..."Enemies Spotted."
462cid
Well, if you want more realism, screenshot a copy of the command map before a mission, print it out, and use it as a hard copy- don't look at the command map ever. You also shouldn't switch between teams, or team members either, for "full" realism.
The_Slink
screenshot a copy of the command map before a mission, print it out, and use it as a hard copy- don't look at the command map ever. You need to set waypoints though.
Jack57
how do you get rid of red dots on map? You need to paint over the little diamond icon on the Alpha channel of the Ghost Recon\Data\Shell\Art\cmi.rsb - it's immediately to the right of the vehicle icons. Better still, copy it to your mod directory before you piant over it. Cheers, Jack
redneck
Given that the year is supposed to be 2008, perhaps the features of the command map won't be so far-fetched by then. Threat indicator, tho, that's science fiction.
