Dai-San 0
I was just remembering a conversation we (Team GRNET) had a while ago regarding GR:AW and how expectant we were etc and we were talking about Modding and Mission scripting etc. The conversation turned to injured or downed Team mates etc and how cool it would be if you could actually pick em up and carry em. Well GR:AW is out and guess what, you can pick someone up and carry em, all the animations are there, everything so I hope this feature can be expanded upon in future Mods, Missions scripts etc. If the player limit etc for Co-op is sorted then imagine the Co-op Tournament possibilities, Points awarded for No Man Left Behind etc. Making a snap decision mid game of wether it would be better to leave a squad mate behind (Still be able to shoot etc) or carry em along. A whole Rescue mission based on protecting the teammate carrying the downed soldier, man the possibilities are endless.
FA sear 0
That is a good idea, but I personally always felt that downed friendlies should always be taken to the extraction point immediately. I always thought it would be a good feature to have a medic that would have to stabilize an injured friendly, then you would have to immediately carry them to the extraction point. Now of course in SP with only a 4 man squad this would be impossible, but in coop as you mention, it would be a nice feature.
sui317 0
A whole Rescue mission based on protecting the teammate carrying the downed soldier, man the possibilities are endless. i hope it will be extended to other team mates and not just the host/teamleader but if that is not extended it will still be a nice feature, just limited
REC0N 0
Yes that would be a great feature. but I don't think you should be able aim very well when caring a injured teammate. (maybe add this feature to your Co-op list Dai San). Edited May 10, 2006 by REC0N

(maybe add this feature to your Co-op list Dai San). You can't aim at all when carrying someone, you have no crosshairs, you can only walk etc. This is already included and happens in the VIP mission. So no need to include it in the wishlist as the feature is already there, just hoping the mod tools allow us to use it

And this would be a cool feature to put in the expansion pack.
Buehgler_AS 0
This is exactly what I was thinking when I finished the embasy defend thing. We have played it in co-op a few times, but I have not yet had the chance to watch the leader carry the VIP, so I am not sure how great it looks. If we have the "right" SDK/mod tools then I feel confident predicting that a no-man-left-behind mission/gametype will not be far away. silent_op 0
Yep, I thought the same thing. It made me think back at a GR1 mod that I was involved in, but was never completed, That Others May Live. I feel that if GRIN gives us the proper CO-OP and Modding Tools, an Air Force Special Operations Command Pararescue mod can become a reality for GR:AW. We have the fast rope, HALO jumps, and the "fireman's carry". RabidLockerGnome (aka Hybridmenace), if you're reading these forums... Trident-za 0
Very nice idea If the mod tools are decent, I'm quite sure there will be some incredible missions/game types put together by talented modders. I start salivating just thinking about what guys like AlphaSquad could put together on this engine.
