When is there going to be a dual-core patch?

Sure you'll get a performance boost by turning off post effects - as long as the GPU is doing all the work - but as soon as you get into a firefight the CPU has some serious work to do, and then the framerate will drop regardless. I'm assuming there is going to be a dual-core CPU patch, as this game is hard on the CPU.

How did you get dual-core patch out of that quote?

If the game is hard on CPUs, then spreading the workload across two would make the game not as resource-heavy :grin1:
