yttocs1966 0
Does the game support controllor setup? Friend and me are playing demo. He just bought controllor and we can't get it to work in game. If I can get cont. to work he'll buy the full game. Help please.
Ghost9 0
i doubt it. why would you want to? a mouse and keyboard will kick the crap out of someone trying to use a controller. But to answer your question, at this time I don't think so. It seems the control scheme is very limited.
yttocs1966 0
I agree with the mouse and keyboard, but he doesn't. He's all thumbs and hates change. Trying to get him use to it though. Thanks anyways
ERIXX 0
This game is not designed for controlers. Its a question of survival, for good shooting you need an accurate MOUSE. Nothing can replace it. (Yes I know consoles use it, but that only works in 'Easy/Auto-aiming mode' with a Über-Fat crosshair in the center of your screen)
yttocs1966 0
I agree again, but he still doesn't. Are you saying you can on easy with autoaim? I've got him playing with mouse on demo, but he won't buy the full game if he can't use a *cough* controllor. If it doesn't support it oh well, just trying to find out. TedSmith 0
To the best of my knowledge, there is no support for game controllers.
XenoSoft 0
No, game does not support controler.
yttocs1966 0
Thanks for ALL the replies. I talked him into buying the full game, even though he'll have to use the mouse and keyboard. Told him maybe in the future a patch will allow it by then he'll be use to it and already own it so

Kingkat 0
I am using a "FlexiGlow Cyber Snipa" game pad. I find it easy to use and I have 'remapped' the keys. I have noticed several of these styles lately. They are similar to the Z Board style keys for the left hand control. Still use a mouse in the right hand. Works fine...........................................kingkat
Frumpus 0
*Shakes head* I still can't believe the tunnel-vision surrounding the use of analog controllers in PC FPS games. People (including developers) always assume if you use a joystick, you'll be using it for aiming instead of a mouse. > For those of you that believe NOTHING beats a mouse/keyboard setup... think again: http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=33258 If GRAW PC doesn't "truly" support the use of an analog HID axes for movement (of course not forr aiming!), then I probably will NOT buy this game. What a shame! The XB360 version does analog-for-fluid-movement extremely well --instead of the tired old ON/OFF digital style for walking/running... (Of course a thumbstick is ridiculous for aiming. Mouse/trackball is the way to go there.) Therefore, using a joystick/mouse combo beats keyboard/mouse hands down. Edited May 10, 2006 by Frumpus
JASGripen 0
This one is a favorite for some of my friends: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage...duct_Id=157024#
ERIXX 0
of course many if not all gamepads have software to emulate keystrokes but really.... the movements are designed to use a keyboard, so let him be happy and try whatever he likes. Tell him he CAN use it...
