Linux...why so many disks?

I think you will find that there are different flavours on the disks depending on what you are installing it on. also there is apps on the distribution disks. So if its the illegal kind thats why. Otherwise just d/l the basic install direct from the original distributor.

Linux is capable of being installed on many systems as you know, and they cater for all with the distro's.The packages have to be specific :wacko: . But if its an intel chipset you should find it straight forward to install.
