semperfi_bohica 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Share Posted May 2, 2006 I was sorry to see no MP feature for the demo. Cancel the Pre-order, only option until I see what Grin/Ubi does for the MP gamer. I trust Grin to the extent Good Ol' Ronnie did "Trust but Verify" Bravo CV is right...hopefully...it remains to be seen if Grin meets the MP expectations... But the fact MP Dom mode was not in the demo is not a good tell-tail sign IMO...I like the single player fine, sure its great... but MP action is what dictates my purchase... Don't let us down BO! enven 0 Posted May 2, 2006 Share Posted May 2, 2006 What really disturbs me is that we only know what people outside the actual 'realm' know...Opinions...POV's...Etc. I wonder what really is going to happen...I have noticed a lot of games being released lately have had this same effect..Little information and a big 'hype' then a big downer..Then everyone gets that bitter taste in their mouths.. I say...Just be patient and hope for the best. IMO: I am hoping to be sideswiped. If not...Let the anti-ubi rally begin. Wonder when more information will be splattered to the public...I wonder what the UBISOFT devs are thinking...Why no solid information..Are they worried about being strung up? I am about to buy a new rig and I want a confirmation that the MP aspect will be dealt with seriously before I go ahead and buy the hardware. If the MP part will be good, then I have no problem with laying about 1300 $ on a new computer, as the game will be a major hobby for years. If not, then I will wait with buying both game and computer. On the other hand, I trust that the MP part will be taken seriously by both Ubi and Grin. If not goodwill is enough then I think revenue is the key. They can't ignore a large part of the market's segment, the MP part. Too much money has been invested in making the game, in order to ignore making dedicated server files etc. But I trust Grin will do a good job if Ubi gives green light to them.
