bagdad-bob
When i start the game it crashes in splash scren and i get this: Crash in application version: grpcdemorc1.04 Direct3D - known capability violation exception. SCRIPT STACK data\lib\managers\viewportmanager.dsf(0) data\lib\setups\setup.dsf(0) data\levels\mission02\mission02.dsf(0) Now im kinda a n00b, but my first guess was that it was something wrong with the drivers...they probably needed an update. But i tried to find a driver that is compatible with my current video card, but cant seem to find any. And i dont get the "FAIL: Sorry, your video card does not meet this recommended requirement. Upgrading to a more powerful video card will make all your applications look better. Click the 'We Recommend' button to see some great options." as others here do.... Edited May 1, 2006 by bagdad-bob

As far as that system checker site -- that's not UBI or Redstorm or GRIN. That's a marketing business looking to get referral fees for helping sites to sell hardware. FatmanDaz
offcourse there might not be the problem, and i checked with others playing GRAW with Geforce FX GO5700 and it worked there... Is thereanye out there who has any clue whats wrong??? And eventually what drivers i need? ← Are you sure about users with 5700's playing the game? Only reason I ask, I have a 5950U which as stated by many on these forums doesn't work! However, a m8 has installed the demo on his son's pc, which runs a 5700. He also installed the 84.37 nvidia drivers from Guru.com and the demo runs without the black sillouhette that all 5950U users experience. I've dl'd these drivers and installed them but it makes no difference. My m8 has no reason to lie to me so I believe his story, so what makes a 5700 work but not a 5950U???????
