All the fake prerendered crap in the world isn't going to stop a juggernaut:

"You mean the mythical Halo 3? I mean, it's silly to deny its existence when the chairman of MS (Bill Gates) announced it, but I have nothing to announce now, but expect there to be a significant announcement at E3."

Then this:

It seems Mr Moore has today revealed that the legendary Master Chief will be appearing at E3 to show off the latest game in the Halo series. Of course nothing is known about what will be shown; whether it will be CGI or in game footage, but rest assured it will be one of the biggest highlights of this years E3.

Moore stated the following: “Expect to see the first footage from the next installment of Halo at E3, which might shift some focus away from the competition. The game won't hit stores until 2007, however.â€

And on a side note:

It also looks like the new Forza Motorsport 2 may also make an appearance, news which will no doubt please the racing world. Like Halo 3 not much is known about the content which Forza will be taking to E3, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the slickest racing games to hit a console thus far.

In Frank's weekly Bungie update he won't mention HALO but says that Bungie's current game in development (Read HALO) already has playable levels that are incredibly fun. We will likely see real game footage as I believe MS will use this to point fingers at prerendered footage attempts.
