An Ageia capable game due, wheres the needed info?

Recommended Posts

if they expect us to drop 200+ bucks on a completly new type of hardware why wont anyone preview it. id expect a few articles by now explaining the benefits of putting an investment into one. they used to have all these articles telling us the benefits when it was unveiled last year. but with an ageai capable game due out in a month id like to see some examples. imean give me a tech demo showing a cpu physics of a pile of boxes toppling over, and then a huge pile of boxes toppling over, something. Im kinda weirded out that they arent hyping this. to sell it well they should hype it all over.

ps its hard writing topic titles with such a short alowed space, it took me like 10 tries to make it sound somewhat right.

Do you mean something like this demo movie?

Then there's this small side by side comparison of GRAW PC with and without a PhysX card.

The media is out there, albeit in a small amount. It's an emergent technology, and as such, we likely won't see it's true potential until it's been on the market proper for a significant amount of time, assuming it thrives.

There are no gaming reviews on the ppu simply because there are no games out that use the physiX tech. The ppu card itself has been available for purchase here in the uk, i was thinking of buying one this week but the only place i knew selling them had sold out, they had a lot of pre-orders. Just under £200 for an oem.
