SOPMOD
I have some problems with gameplay, such as CTD when setting high graphics values... I thought that Radeon 9550 256 Mb must be enough for the best performance in this old game... (GR) BTW I had no problems when used NVIDIA graphic cards... SOPMOD
BTW I had the same problems (poor performance) playing Rainbow Six series... You right, nvidia works better in these games...
Foxtrot360
It is a result of the video card id say. Probably time for an upgrade if you have really bad performance. Try setting some gr settings to medium, it will CTD if your card cant handle heavily vegatated maps. Oh and yes, nvidia is better =)

The problem is not with ATI cards, as I have run GR fine with all types of Radeon cards. It's your card does not have enough juice to play everything with highest settings. You get what you pay for. Foxtrot360
I have a higher end card (its not that high end, but its not low..), Shadows slow down almost every card. I ALWAYS turn off shadows, or try setting them to low first. It may depend on the game aswell.
