I remember very clearly the build up to PS launch in the UK, the shortages etc. I drove miles around the county until I eventually found one that was not reserved, and even at that, there were no games in the store for it. It wasn't too long until I had Wipeout running on it though, awesome launch title.

Wip3out [The Third Release] was my only PS Wipeout game. Great title, top dance tunes which would play on a CD player and ridiculously difficult to play at even mid levels. I've messed with the PSP version too and it looks great. Originally developed bt the Psygnosis team in Leeds.
