cajun47
while this is being delayed. is that too much to expect for pc gamers?
NYR_32
3 months before release is not time the time for a demo. Even if the demo is done right now, and released, people are going to play it and not have a product to purchase for another two and a half months. If you think the complaining is bad now, imagine if that was the case.
=warcloud=
Plus grin has to sort out the 4 man coop, then they have to sort out the cross-com, oh and what else were we unsure about pc graw? long time before we see a demo? haha.

I must admit that 2.5 months of waiting after a demo is abit too long. The usually release one in a 3 week timespan. But some video's are most welcome! UBI is too busy marketing the xbox 360 version! maestro
they could have a tleast given pc gamers a demo. ← So they should at least give us a demo? Well then, if they really wanted to lube us up, what should they give us then? TWO demos? Give us each a jet pack? The ability to become invisible? One or several of the solutions to intergalactic travel?! Let's not put the expression "at least" in the wrong context. A demo would be nice - but it's hardly the least they could do. +Medic+~SPARTA~
And the most they can do, is release the demo, then the full game, then release an exspansion or two or three, and then the SDK. Anything else would be too much Edited March 22, 2006 by SierraNovember6
Tortfeaser
Could it be possible that they don't owe us anything?

It still sold quite well and had people hyped for the release of it. That's not a decent or even feasible reason. Besides, it's two months to may, not three. connie lingus
I don't see why releasing a first demo while we wait is so bad an idea, in fact I thinks it's a brilliant way to stir up interest in the game even further.
Hatchetforce
I don't see why releasing a first demo while we wait is so bad an idea, in fact I thinks it's a brilliant way to stir up interest in the game even further. ← Because releasing a demo means assembling code that isn't complete. That takes an enormous amount of assets to put together a demo as it is. Do not use older games as some type of guideline. It is a huge undertaking that requires multiple levels of approval and involvement. The game development cycle is different than it was a few years ago. End of discussion. Everyone will have to wait. Further caterwalling and leveling of accusations at community personnel will result in locked threads.

Poita
the main reason they dont give us a demo is because they are still in a media blackout while the Xbox360 GRAW goes on a sales rampage. A demo would count as media. If the pc version looks too good it will dampen Xbox sales for sure. Many who are on the fence might hold off on the console version if they see how lovley the pc version looks. Every new step confirms this theory of mine. Even the new Agiea mini demo on their site proves it. They got permission to show some explosion in GRAW PC but you can tell they were under orders to make it as small as feasable. The other games shown on that site have large screens but the GRAW one is very tiny. they could have run them stackked verticle instead of side by side and had it bigger. There is tight control at every step here. Until the XBox has run it's sales course and the media blackout is lifted we'll get nothing significant. connie lingus
I still like your theory, and it's consistent with that tidbid advertisement that was released---not to promote GR:AW, but to sell video cards.
