PC Version section on homepage-suggestion

Recommended Posts

I was just curious, is there someway on the homepage to indicate that the news pertains to the PC version, Xbox Version or PS2 version? I find alot of times I am reading hte news only to later be disappointed the information pertains to the Xbox version ... I really don't care for the Xbox version or PS2 version. The news I want to read is only on the PC version. I am not dismissing the importance of the Xbox or PS2 version.. but a little indicator would be great, maybe PC icone beside the news, an xbox icon for xbox etc...

Not sure what all would be involved but I am getting tired of hearing nothing but Xbox and reading a news section only latte to find out the whole article was dealing with Xbox...

Thanks, again only a suggestion...

I had also noticed this.

At one time I am sure regs will remember, there were no tabs on the news page and all GR/GR2 and GRAW news was all one big list. So I seperated the news into sections so people didn't have to read news they were not interested in.

Now it is clear that there is going to be heaps of GRAW PC and GRAW 360 news, so one tab for GRAW isn't going to cut it.

I will therefore be restructuring the news page to make sections for GRAW PC and GRAW console.

I will also think about Irishstouts suggestion about an icon for each news catagory, but that is largely redundant if PC users are only viewing the PC news by clicking on the PC tab.

Could you not wrap the forum membership with the main page, and just select a couple of boxes in "My Controls" as to what news you wish to hear about. 360 and PC is all I would be interested in personally.
