BigOlBrain
I bet they show the Mission Pack at E3 if it's coming out this year.
BigOlBrain
But anyway a GRAW xp. pack this year would be awesome.
Rocky
GR4 March 2007? Is it just me or does that sound ALOT earlier than expected?
Cobblers
Too early imo, but who knows. Gives them time to sort things out, besides, I'll still be happy playing GR:AW by then, so if we get told that it won't come out until 2009 I'd still be happy. Calgar99
Well ubisoft have a tendacy to announce a release date and the delay 4-6 months ie Lockdown,GRAW,Double Agent.
Avalon Drew
Very true, but even then, that seems like an awfully short time to release another iteration. Not that I'd mind or anything, if they can improve on this, by all means, they should go right ahead. I'd be impressed to the utmost. audiolab
could be possible as they have got the base engine sorted all they have to do is work on new maps and new sounds
devilsgrin_6
UbiSoft ALWAYS releases early release dates, then delays their games. That early 2007 GR4 will turn into Fall 2007 for sure. Also, that map pack better have a LOAD of maps. Only having 4 co-op maps and about 8 multiplayer maps in GRAW kills me, especially only having the 4 co-op, it sucks! devilsgrin_6
I'm not even sure if the 'Map Pack' is real yet, but that leaked list had it listed. I'm guessing they will do something along the lines of how Halo 2 had an added Map Pack to add on to the original game and sell it for around $20-30? Calgar99
I hope its more of a summit strike version than a Halo map pack. €25 for 8 maps and video was hardly the best deal as opposed to summit strike which was great value for money. OPSIXDELTA
actually, if you remember splinter cell chaos theory was released a year after pandora tommorrow, both GREAT games, so it is possible for ubisoft to accomplish this, as a matter of fact they would probably do it alot like they did the pandora and chaos releases. this entire time i bet that GR4 has been in development in parallel to graw, this is exactly what happened with the sc franchise. so it is not out of the question. Camaroguy579
Thats about right, a new ghost recon has always came out a year later. Keep in mind, they are done with the game MONTHS before its release, so they have already been working on the GRAW mission pack for probly 7 months now. Arachneya
I'm guessing they will do something along the lines of how Halo 2 had an added Map Pack to add on to the original game and sell it for around $20-30? Well you really can't compare the 2. The Halo 2 affair went down like this: 1. 1.1 update is released. Maps 1 & 2 are available for free. Maps 3 & 4 cost you $6. 2. 6 weeks later, Maps 3 & 4 are now available for free. Maps 5-9 are available for $12. A disc is available at retail with all 9 maps, the 1.1 update, and extra material for $20. (The extra stuff alone is worth the price for a true Halo fan). 2 special playlists are designed giving you access to play maps 2-9 in matchmaking (for folks that got the new pack early and want to play on them outside of custom games), while Map 1 is integrated into the Big Team list. 3. 10 weeks later, Maps 5-9 are free, making the disc only necessary for folks without Live or those deploying the maps & update on a lot of boxes (ex: MLG). All 21 maps are integrated into the revised playlists. Now, take that model (which you can blame of the marketing geniuses at the Xbox division), and compare it to standalone games like Island Thunder (which, with GR1, offered Desert Seige maps as DLC) and Summit Strike. I wouldn't call GRAW's "mission pack" a "map pack" - it's more of an expansion/stand-alone content.
