He heralded forth the first design oriented contest into a website that catered to sadistic peoples who liked to blow each other up with high velocity weapons. What a man!! And so, the tributes have come pouring in and we saw some amazing cool-mo-dee shiz from mordred’s magic mushroom induced call to hallucinogenic to SteelHack’s ode to Lycans ... in the end though, it was Zeko’s minimalist photo rendering of a Hollywood walk of fame star that not only clearly illustrated its classification but displayed the creativity and complexity well deserving of a GDC award ... Here’s to you, Zekemeister ... And so, we bid adieu to GDC IX!! Recall, I had hinted of Velocity being the essence of this past GDC ... well, how can I put this for GDC X ... uhm ... you got a week.
