Sup
okay. Yes the one at the top of the page, is there another one I missed? ← Not sure. Anyway, I appreciate for the offer, but I don't really need it. I've done much better than that, and know what's wrong with it.

Sup
Back to game art. http://i1.tinypic.com/xc8zns.jpg 1300 tris/512 maps (spec/normal/diffuse, normal generated with photoshop filter) 1606 tris with cape/cloth. WIP. From another artist's concept art, for the most part. I improvised on the pants, to test some methods for bagginess/wrinkles.
Sup
1200 tris, all in quads save a couple of tris up on the forehead; not worth drawing the loops out.

Sup
Calling it done. Every part of the texture could use at least another pass (especially the body sheet), but I need to move on to the cgchat competition if i want to continue getting a good amount of practice. Mouse + Photoshop 6 and max 8. No side reference on head, two 512 diffuse sheets, one 512 alpha. Screencaptured fullbright (vertex colors) from Max viewport. Sup
Worst concept, worst execution. Generic female, WIP. All practice, I guess.

Sup
I don't consider this to be any good, just fooling around trying to get over my problems modeling human heads (and highpoly) in Max. Started with a quadified version of the model on the right last night, got it to around http://i1.tinypic.com/24bjn0i.jpg in an hour or two, and then tweaked it off and on today to be a little bit more presentable. I'd like to excuse a few of it's failings on style, but it's really just bad all around. The goal was never realism, though. Just character and believability. Sup
1500 tris, about, so far. No ref. Improvised a new method to model it: (new to me, that is. Not claiming to having invented it, although I haven't seen it used before.)
Sup
4100 tris, comfortably 900 under my limit. Still needs ears, feet, the inside of the mouth, and general tweaks. WIP. Still no reference used.
