I like this bit With the power of the X360 we were able to make the models more realistic and detailed than ever before, as we had more than 15,000 polygons per Ghost; if I remember correctly, this was about the size of a whole map on an early PS1 game. In GR2, Joe Ramirez's DOB was 1978 Feb 21. It would be sad if that's actually the info that appears in the game. I don't know how realistic it would be to have a 24 year-old already make Sergeant First Class?? Notice how all the Ghosts are now 7th SFG? I didn't go back to check the GR2 profiles, but I had the thought of "well hell, It's been how many years and Mitchell is still a captain?" I think they wanted to use the same characters without making them too old for service/too distant for the players.
