Colin 0
Conclusions Windows Defender Beta 2 combines the best-of-breed spyware detection and removal functionality from the old Giant Antispyware product and turns it into a stellar application that all Windows users should immediately download and install. Lightweight, effective, and unobtrusive, Windows Defender is anti-spyware done right, and I still consider this to be the best anti-spyware solution on the market. Highly recommended. Good reviews all round. Link
swartsz 7
yeah, it looks like a great program. the only thing i can see wrong with it is that is has to be on to run a scan, you can't just use it to scan your system from time to time.
Avey 0
Its naff in my opinion. The Microsoft Anti-Spyware tool was decent, but this just feels like a step backward.
Specter 0
Nothing special. Just something to use up resources better used somewhere else. I have no use for anything that I can't run on my own terms, that has to be left running. POS. @Avey, "Naff?"

Giampi 39
Windows defender is in my opinion a good software however made expecially for beginners. Frankly I prefer the many options offered by Giant but it's indeed very effective. I tried to install some spyware and automatically detected and then removed upon my confirmation. Good stuff! It runs well with my Antivir Classic Edition and Zone Alarm Free version
