Cobblers
A post on the UBI forums had a link to System Requirements Lab. This site will test your system specs and give you an analysis as to whether your PC can run a game or not. Amzingly enough, GR:AW is one of them. I passed the test with this machine, although I got under the recommended and not one of my components got a top notch mark. They also recommend that I upgrade my 256 ATi Radeon 9800 XT g.card. My system spec: (For the above test) You Have: 2 processors running - Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz (Thought I only had one??) You Have: 2.8 GHz You Have: 1023.5 MB You Have: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 You Have: RADEON 9800 XT (RADEON 9800 XT AGP) (Seeing as everyone has uploaded their bar image, I thought I'd do the same) Edit: These results should be taken with a pinch of salt, as until you use a demo with GR:AW you really will/can not know. stevenmu
You Have: 2 processors running - Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz (Thought I only had one??)HT (hyperthreading) can show up in some tests as 2 CPUs. I wouldn't get overly concerned about what this site says, I presume they're just comparing your system to the min specs published a while ago (which aren't final yet anyway). Ci2e
All because my CPU is only a P4-2.4GHz not 2.8GHz... I passed everything else even under recommended, so that test is really not that reliable a CPU is a little more important than a GPU... yttocs1966
I noticed when I used the test, they it read my CPU as a 3.2( which it really is) but I have it at 3.52. The GPU for something like this is going to be more important than the CPU, and on the CPU, you just aren't far enough under to even make it a worry. IF you have a decent amount of RAM and a decent Video card to go with that CPU, you're in decent shape.
