1. Our dedicated server experiences lag now regulary.

This might help:

The textures in the mod are pre-compressed. Go to Options->Graphics, and make sure "compress textures" and "mipmap textures" are OFF.

For the other problems, if the mod is off then there's nothing in it that can effect performance in any way.

YOTM is totally selfcontained minus the .xml files used for specialist unlocking, as with GR. deactivating it should be the only thing you need to do to take it out of the mix.

Are you using any sort of mod launching program or stat utility that might be of kilter due to YOTM? (don't think it was ever tested with these sorts of things....). I don't really have a clue why you're having these problems so i'm throwing a bone jic.

If YOTM is activated for SP without using the launcher (I dislike them; in my experience launcher=trouble), YOTM runs fine but...

none of the DS, IT, or Original GR missions are available any longer under the QM Menu?

Can anyone explain why? Please? :unsure:

Janie, in your mission folder of yotm they have included the original mission files from all 3 releases of GR, DS and IT. They probably just changed in igor that original missions weren't available for custom game types. If you move those original missions files out of yotm file folder into a temp folder outside of yotm, you should have your qm missions available to you.

Sorry quick question from a YOTM new guy.  Am I suppose to see those snipers on the first mission?

Yes u can find those snipers.

Same problem here, I just downloaded last night and tried and it seems my threat indicator doesn't work and I show no red dot "VC" on the maps. I 'm like the turkey on a turkey shoot. Are these items disabled in YOTM?

I think I've died.....hmmm...a months worth before I finally spotted them.

Awesome mod, totally different feel. :thumbsup:

oh, ya finally looked up huh? lol, dont feelbad, i died sooo much before it clicked in my head. BTW,if ya dont know, those tripwire traps can be disarmed :D

1) Reinstall YOTM.

2) disarm tripwire trap, this time <_<

Okay I unchecked the "Compress Textures" in the options panel and now I can see those pesky snipers and on my way to start mission 3. Thanks! This mod is outstanding but quite challenging without the use of a threat indicator. Just gotta search for which direction the incoming fire is from.

Thanks for the heads up! Yes I do get that "jumpy" feeling in this mod and trying to figure out who is VC or not. Great mod that I am enjoying so far. Trying to figure out how to get the dock worker because I can't seem to get anyone to come with me, then someone spots me and I get killed.

Stand up - bump into them surly triggers them... Kneeling works as well if I remember correctly.

Only dock workers on dock/bridge are valid. All other unarmed are civilians and farmers just doing their things - and you can't snatch them. Be happy becase they are not VC sounding any alarm, but yes, they rather stare you to death than follow you...

Thanks for all the help guys! May need help on mission 5 later also. Gotta try and figure this out. I am enjoying this mod wuite a bit though.
