dickie
It came in the post today, a letter from the University of Bangor, saying they've given me an offer for CCC or above (240 points)! They say they want people given offers to visit for another Open Day type thing, the first one is on Friday, so I'm going to try to get on that one, if not, then I get to wait till March when the Spitfire should be done and I can go down in that Sorry, I'm just a little happy now Dickie

dickie
Congrats! I guess CCC is some kind of Computer Graphics class? ← Nope, CCC means 3 A-Levels at C grade, each C is 80 points, and the offer is for 240 points with at least two CC's (so I couldn't say, get an A and 2 E's which might give me the same points). I've taken Physics, Biology and Geology and have applied to do Ocean Science. Ta dudes!
Avey
Congratulations. I got rejected from 5 out of 6 universities with the grades BBB. I think I set my standards to high. Thank god Leeds was willing to take me on.
FA sear
Good job. They rate things in a very different manner here in the States. Anyway Congratulations. University, man, that was a long time ago.
the.ronin
Very nice, dickie ... and just a few days ago you wanted to rip some heads off. Goes to show that life has a way of keeping things in balance regardless of how polar the extremes might be. Congrats, quimosabe.

Yeah would be cool to go for a drink sometime. I've probably walked past you before without noticing. I spend most of my time in the H building, the Library and the Dry Dock. Taught me a lesson though, and sadly, one I badly needed
