firefly2442 0
So I'm trying to get this old program to run in Windows XP Compatibility Mode and it's not working. It doesn't seem to want to run. Are there any programs out there that might be able to emulate it? I tried it under Linux with Wine and it started installing but then there was a memory error or something. Thanks.

Specter 0
There are programs like DOSBOX Other than that, you're probably out of luck. XP has absolutely no version of DOS with it at all, unlike ME/98/95. They were still DOS -based OS's. But with XP having no legacy system at all, most games from the good ol' days just won't run. I have however downloaded DOSBOX for both XP and for Linux as well, and will be trying them out very soon, as I have a few vintage favorites of my own.
Dannik 43
DOSBOX is a fine app, as well as VDMSound, which emulates a lot of hardware configs, to get older apps to talk to new gear properly.
