I know its small, but its big enough and i just plain know better that i messing out when in 1080i. Like someone else here said must people with a HDTV that has 720p knows and mostly perfer 720p all day when it comes to games. 1080i is fine if you don't have 720p becuase it's much better than 480p all day. Yet Again if your happy thats all that matters right its a small diffrence thats true but for the untrained eye you wont even know the diffrence anyways becuase its so small. ← Well most games will be in a native 720p resolution, especially as the console gets older and they are pushing the hardware, which is an advantage. And I think I might would be more partial to 720p if I played in it more often because then my eyes would be used to that resolution. However I feel the difference is most definitely not worth buying a new tv right now. 1080p sets are on the way and yeah they will be expensive for a while but they will go down in price. That’s when I’ll buy myself a new tv. I do like LCDs though. Saw a sweet Sony the other day. It was massive big and still looked amazing and not washed out at all..
