Cutter Posted January 24, 2006 Share Posted January 24, 2006 I have Adobe PhotoShop 7.0 and have no clue really on how to use it, I am wanting to create a link button for my teams website (link below) but am not sure how. Can someone lead me to a few good sites with tutorials or give me an idea on the best way to learn PS. I have thumbed through the 10 pound small print book that came with the program but geeeeeeeeeeeeez !! I am looking for a mentor if possible, I am a beginner that requires patience with even the dumbest questions I would appreciate it guys/gals. the.ronin Posted January 24, 2006 Share Posted January 24, 2006 Sorry bout that ... I should have been more specific. Do you mean a regular link button where you click and it takes you somewhere? Or do you mean a rollover button that changes images when you mouse over? Or do you mean a link button that does all sorts of funny stuff when you mouse over? If it's the first two, I would actually just code it in the HTML ... I use Dreamweaver for this. If you want more eye candy with your link button, then you'll have to resort to Flash. I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses. ← Ronin we paid for that site, (although every detail and idea on the site was thought of by myself and two other members) we went thru **** to get them to get it done after we paid half!! When all was said and done we didn't want a thing to do with them !! There were just a couple of things that weren't right and we needed the button, but to deal with them again just wasn't worth it. Heck if someone wants to make me one that matched the color scheme (camo) of our site I wouldn't complain, I would even pay a few bucks. Just feel bad asking for stuff though. Thanks for the feedback on the site Ronin If you click on the lights of the Hummer it shows some info and other things, the windshield wipers work now and then too, lol.
