calius 0
Probably pretty good working there (apart from corny), but maybe not so comfortable after this: http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/13657303.htm The Bush administration on Wednesday asked a federal judge to order Google to turn over a broad range of material from its closely guarded databases. the.ronin 5
A close friend of mine has worked for Google as a consultant ... he says this is absolutely a no BS company and probably one of the tightest ships he has ever seen ... this was several years ago long before it became a household name. WhiteKnight77 1
Google has a server farm here in the metro Atlanta area. The building isn't even marked and the door is kept locked at all times according to an article I read over a year ago.

magnumkp 0
I believe even the receptionists have Phds. I don't know of any company that could afford the 20% rule that they employ, let alone the bus service from the nearby towns and the massive restuarant they run. It's good to see the £15,000 our company pays them a month in advertising is going somewhere worthwhile.
firefly2442 0
They obviously are getting a tremendous amount out of the employees even thought they might spend a lot on them the benefit vastly outweighs it. It makes you think about all the rough companies out there where people sit in cubicles all day hating the company and getting little done. Maybe this way Google employees have more of an investment in the company and it's future.
