Even though many of them are full of recycled ideas, and worn out storylines. Its the same thing for games, and many other forms of entertainment. ← And those going to the movies have been declining for almost a decade now - Independent (small budget films) are were the big money (% of returns) are at.....curently. Only a few of the big block busters are making real money in terms of % of return. The same will hold true via video games in years to come. There is a great market currently for a game to use updated technologies but based on the reality of R6 and GR (originals). Same holds true for example with Janes F-18 - Since Janes went out of biz....there really hasn't been a realistic Jet Sim put out.......But it will happen one of these years...and it will make a ton of money (based on % of return). Again, I don't think there is anything wrong (per say) with UBI going the route they are going....(that is their biz).....however at the same time there is absolutely nothing wrong with customers (select customers) saying they don't agree....and by voicing their thoughts / demands.....it will spark the needed risk for some independent type game producer to jump in and develop a new modern type R6 (and reap the profits from it). Nobody can deny that RVS (for example) had a terribly "arcade" feel to it....compared to R6 or GR - If you still enjoyed it (fine).....I did myself.....but it still had a complete arcade type feel to it. I have absolutely no problems with hearing others express there thoughts / wants concerning games I enjoy (some have very good ideas).......that doesn't bother me at all........Yet what does bother me is actually hearing people *whine / cry* over having to hear those people express there thoughts. How utterly silly is that. These forums aren't just meant to blow smoke up each others as$es....(or UBI's for that matter) are they? The other that focus on what is wrong in the pursuit for something better. Does a race car driver come in the pit saying, ''wow, I really like the transmission and the seat is so comfortable, good work guys''. Or does he say, ''the suspension needs more tweaking and the engine is not 100% yet, fix that!'' Ubi might be the owner and GRIN the builder, but we are the drivers.
