Its similare to Microsoft's Works but free Make PDFs Databases Prsentations Spread Sheets XML Documents Text Docs Master Docs etc... So we had about half and half. Teaching someone who doesnt speak english to use word is one thing, teaching them to use open office is another. firefly2442 Posted January 10, 2006 Share Posted January 10, 2006 (edited) You can save from Open Office into .doc format. That's what I use so that people can read them. Also, the state of Massachusetts is apparently still working on trying to use the open document standard.
