Foxtrot360
Okay (I wasnt burning on my PC btw.), I have music and i burned 5 tracks to a CD-R with Windows Media Player, Well once it was burned i deleted them from my HDD because i thought i had it all burned. Well once it was burned i checked the CD .the tracks were .wmp files, had 96kbps (the songs all had over 150kbps, very crappy sound quality, and i wasted a whole 700 mb cd-r on it because for some reason 5 tracks took up the whole cd when i know they werent long. I could have fit 15 tracks on it. Anyway, i was doing this to back them up for a format. So does anyone know what happened there? & Can i just copy the music to the cd with windows explorer like i do with data / files?
CrowmanUK
You're probably better off using Nero for making music cd's mate, if you check the settings in media player you'll see it defaults to wma files, get Nero and give that a blast is what I recommend. CrowmanUK
Usually comes free on a disk with most cd writers mate, if you havent got a copy see if you can borrow one off a mate, heres the site for it anyway http://www.nero.com/eng/index.html
Recon
I'd suggest getting iTunes. It's a free 20mb(ish) download and makes organising all your music much easier. Burning CDs with it is also very simple (just one click once you've chosen the tracks).
