Ok a spooky story.....On the origina GR game, first mission, where you have to rescue Prasvili. You head to the Eastern camp approach in stealth from the south and kill all the thugs that with a single grenade. Immediately look north and you will see a ghost running uphill at full speed....I swear!! with the chickenrun cheat you can follow him......Sometimes he dresses like a russian guy sometimes he is a ghost. the.ronin Posted March 16, 2003 Share Posted March 16, 2003 there is one tango that makes a run for it whenever that camp is engaged. i usually set a smaller fireteam up there to intercept while i deal with the camp. what are you smoking ... and can i have some? One time I killed a group of soldiers and I went around the corner and doubled back, there was a russian standing in the middle of the dead bodies.I shot him and he laid down, HE DIDNT DROP BUT LAID DOWN, I went over to investigate ###### was happening and there was no body of the russian I seen. Kill all the Ghosts. (Like Band of Brothers ) In Gold Mountain, when i secure the Bank, i usually shot the left gunner first (with my sniper). then i kill the other one with MM1 AGL. When the tangoes come out i just shoot a few nades at the bank door. Ok , whatta hell does it got to do with this topic? Well the first Tango comes out all covered in blood and keeps walking and shooting. A glitch? A supernatural event? It should be in Twilight Zone. or the X-Files. Grail Posted March 16, 2003 Share Posted March 16, 2003 That's wierd. I think I know what you're talking about, but there's no reason why it should appear in standard GR missions. To see Ghost tango's manifest, open up IGOR and use an actor loop to send random members of the same team (assign them a path) to random bases. 9 out of 10 times you'll get a tango that phases in and out of view dependant on range. Visible, invisible, visible, invisible... He's bulletproof, but your AI will react to him. Make sure you've teamsuperman'd yourself, because he'll bloody well react to you too. When I was playing the Embassy, over by the Hotel, I shot a tango with a M136, in the chest knocking him down. HE THEN GOT UP! killed one of my men, i turned on superman real fast and took this pick.
