cajun47
i just watched "clear and present danger" on usa for the first time tonight. i have no idea why i never bothered with it before.....great movie. the troops in south america reminded me of ghost recon. how many clancy movies are there besides this and sum of all fears? i know there are many clancy books, but i rather play ghost recon then read. tyovan4
patriot games was turned into a movie.. i think that rainbow six would be an awesome movie, but if they followed the book instead of making up their own storyline which they seem to do

splaster
It would be great, with the movies about sf currently coming out, it would have a chance of being made. The problem is that most of the good book become horrible movies, the written butcher a book worst that an apprentice butcher on his first cutting job. Till someone writes a script for a orginal idea (ok, military movies are almost alway redone) and not destroy a Clancy, or other writer's book it will not be good. I would like to see the rouge warrior series get on the scene someday, but that has about as much change as a good (acurate) protrail of the military. Splaster and his 2 cents worth

FivefifitysixNATO
Someone could make a small Flash movie. Like have the GR campaign missions and funny things going on with memebers of this site. Just a thought- I don't know how to use Flash .

Cobblers
Ummm, No! I was thinking more along the lines of Tom Cruise or a younger Han Solo!! Even Mr Bean would be better than Pee Wee Herman!!!

Piccolo
That would be the very first Car 15, Nato. The original model was just a cutdown M16, same foregrip, etc. Later, the XM177 was made, which looks abit like the M4 of today, round forearms, retractable M4-like stock, etc. The main difference were the barrel size, larger flash suppressor, and old A1 style sights/carry handle. The Car15 is kindof a generic name, as it has come to be used in reference to any older cutdown M16/Commando rifle. The model Delta had in Somalia for example, was abit different then that of 5 to 10 years earlier. They put new A2 style sights on their's, along with different barrel configuration (Lengths; CQB, and Sniping). Also, Tears of the Sun is about SEALs, not Army Special Forces (Green Berets), as Ghost Recon is. There are a few Beret movies if you look around, not alot recently though.
