Bulldog 0
Ok, I went to GameSpy, purchased GR, downloaded it from GameSpy, and installed it. My friend stole my original GR cd, and I still have the DS CD that came with the package. Now, I got the licence so the game could work, but when I try to install DS, it says that GR needs to be installed, but I have it installed. Do I need some type of file, or something so that DS can find GR?
Pave Low 16
From the Direct2Drive FAQ's page Q. Is my game compatible to any expansion packs I buy at the store? No. Direct2Drive games are not compatible to expansion packs purchased at retail stores on cdrom. Only expansion packs offered by Direct2Drive are compatible to Direct2Drive games. Same with patches:You must use patches we provide for Direct2Drive games. Outside files cannot be used to patch Direct2Drive games.
Vscorp 0
I have the same problem. I guess it is our own fault for not checking the details before purchasing from D2D. What a waste of time and money D2D is. Has anyone found a solution to this problem, other than going to the store and buying the full version? (which I am about to do, along with the expansions)
